At only 13 years of age, the “Russian Genius” (Corriere della Sera) Alexander Malofeev won the International Tchaikovsky Competition for Young Musicians in 2014. Catapulted into the limelight 10 years ago, Malofeev has performed regularly with the most distinguished conductors and symphonies on stage today. “Contrary to what could be expected of a youngster…, he demonstrated not only high technical accuracy but also an incredible maturity. Crystal clear sounds and perfect balance revealed his exceptional ability” (Amadeus). As one of the most prominent pianists of is generation, Malofeev will perform works by Schubert, Brahms, Rachmaninoff, and more.
